May day!

May, June, July.

Goodness. May. 

 But this post starts back in April. April 25th to be exact.

And just so you don't have to look on your calendar, that was a Thursday. 

Last Thursday was a great day. 

I, of course, spent the first few hours of my morning with my gorgeous little man.

Once I dropped him off at school, I spent an hour and a half driving through Orlando. 

Why..?

 Why drive through Orlando? 

What was my destination? 

What was my purpose? 

Let me just tell you. 

It was going to pick up this gorgeous girl! 

Karen got to come over and spend time with me! 

I had SUCH a blast. 

Karen and I get along so well.

Years ago Karen and I used to stay up till like 2 in the morning texting. We always texted about the weirdest and dumbest stuff too. haha! 

But then, things happened..

We suddenly didn't text any more.

And before she came over, I was freaking out, thinking Okay, Karen and I are going to be awkward...

I'm gonna have to like keep busy, JUST so things aren't awkward.

.

But once I had Karen in the car...

Once we got talking....

Even as Karen said...

We just pick things right up.

We seriously get along SO well. 

She's an amazing girl.

So full of happiness these days. God has really been blessing her. 

=) 

So Thursday Karen and I spent the afternoon with Benji. 

Thursdays are tennis days, so Karen got to experience some tennis and park time.

Benjamin was such a little flirt too.

He just had to show off. So funny.

.......

Of course, every one knows, you come to the Palm Coast or St. Augustine area, you MUST have a visit or two to cold cow. Or three or four. 

Just kidding. 

But we did make a trip there on Thursday night. It was yummy, as always! ;-)

Friday was a fantastically, fabulous day. 

Sunny and warm. perfect beach like weather. 

That's exactly what we did! 

I actually found an awesome beach and park. 

There's a play ground and a water park with a beach view. Just ask Karen. 

It was really nice. And really clean.

After the beach we enjoyed some starbucks and a hamburger dinner. (Grilled by my momma! ;) 

Karen and I *tried* to call it an early night. 

But early is like midnight for us. 

Part of that reason is because Karen and her man-friend, Levi, liked to facetime!

I like to face time with them too! ;-)

Saturday morning dawned bright and early. 

Karen and I were out of the door by 7 am and on our way tooooooo-

We traveled 4 hours ( making 4 stops....and two of them were definitely NOT for starbucks. ;-) 

for a church meeting at Bro Jason Watkins church.

My aunt Amber and Uncle Tony were going and asked if we could go to. ( We traveled separately since Amber and Tony stayed for 4 days.) 

We had a good time.

Met some new friends, saw some old friends. 

I don't know the brother who ministered. Aside from the fact that he was Russian and that he had an interpreter. 

Really good service for sure. They spoke so smooth. 

So of course, on our way home, we made one last stop for starbucks. 

A couple other stops too. 

Let's just say, by the time we got home, it seriously felt like the longest day ever. 

I drove the whole time. haaaaaaha. ILY Karen. =)

Sunday is church day! 

And after church, we took a tour down town. 

Had a late lunch. 

Walked around, took pictures, ect. ect. 

(Karen did most of the picture taking... ) Check her blog for updates!

Downtown is really never a disappointment. 

Even though I've been there, done that.. Seen it all. It's always nice to just walk around.

Monday. Another day with Benji-man!

I had to be up at 5:30, but Karen got to sleep in.

My mom met me with Karen later in the morning. 

Where did we meet? 

Starbucccccks. 

This is sort of sounding like a routine isn't it? 

Did KAren and I go a day without starbucks...? 

uhm.. No. 

Ahhhhhh!

Anyway. Karen tried to face time with Levi a little, but he was sitting in his school hallway and apparently the noise was "disruptive" to others. 

So it didn't last long. 

But we got a cute picture before he had to go.

Later that day, when Karen and Levi were texting up a storm.... 

hahaha.

I forgot what Karen and I did on Tuesday.... 

I think we actually slept the morning away. 

hahaha.

We picked up Benji by 2 oclock. 

We did a little mall shopping with him. He's pretty good when it comes to shopping. As long as he's got a snack, he's good.

But he had tennis at 4.  

It was supposed to storm really bad, so my boss told me to go home after tennis.

By the time Karen and I got back home, not a storm cloud in sight. 

We had dinner with my parents. (Again, my mom's MAD grilling skills.) 

 Karen, BEGGED me to go have cold cow. 

I mean, on her knees CRYING.

 In fact, I told her NO.

Firmly. 

But she just kept persisting. 

*Nag-nag-nag-nag* 

I finnnnnally gave in to her tears.

.

Okay, so I'm kidding.

......In fact it may have been the other way around.

I'm not admitting to anything just yet. 

;-)

We took the hot ride. 

My dad's wrangler. 

Boooyah! That was fun.

And not at all wreckless or crazy. 

Cause I am verrrrry responsable. 

Really Sis Kristi! Really! ;-) 

Although, we might have almost lost a window. 

She's adorable. I love her.

Wednesday was a rather sad and pitiful day. 

I didn't like Wednesday... 

Wednesday is the day that Karen had to go home. 

She may have been homesick by then, but I was definitely NOT ready for her to leave.

My mom took her all the way back to Sarasota. 

=( 

I had to leave for work before them...so Karen waved good bye to me.

Goodbye you sweet, fun and wonderful girl you!

I already miss you! Levi too hahaha! ;-)

Here I am, back at Thursday.

And what a BORING, long day it has been.

Actually, it hasn't been too bad. 

It's just been rainy.

Benjamin and I spent our day at home.

Doing arts and crafts, playing on the ipads. 

That kind of stuff! 

It truly has just been a lazy day. 

Which is nice, since I'm busy and running around most of the time. 

Tomorrow is kind of an exciting day for me.

I've got something new going on.

BUT, I'm not going to tell you about it till next week.
