A big round of applause

Happy June, readers!
As much as you all are probably thinking
"A big round of applause for the fact that there's FINALLY a new post"
That's most definitely not what this is about.

I would like to make this a special post to congratulate my big brother!

On the very last day in April, Travis graduated and is now officially a physical therapist assistant!
I know, I know.
Pass the tissues.
He's so grown up now.
Gimme a minute of gush time.
I'm so proud of this guy!
He's been working so hard.
Going to school and trying to support yourself isn't always easy.
Travis has always been good at what he does.
I know he's going to knock the socks off the patients he gets.
Congratulations & Good luck, bubby!
You've worked so hard, you've learned so much.
I know you're really going to enjoy your new field.
I'll be praying for you.
Keep that awesome smile and your crazy wit.

My little man

Yes, March is here.
March is really here!
Does anyone realize what this means?
In LESS then 2 months, KAREN is getting MARRIED!
This amazing, creative and lovely girl turned 20 yesterday.
The excitement of her wedding is kind of setting in.
Elena and I were able to help with her wedding invites this past weekend.
I would say we had a great time! ;-)
A big thank you to Sis. Kristi for her awesome hospitality!
I always have such a great time while I'm there.

This post is mostly about my little man.
Benjamin.
I used to post pictures of him/us all the time.
Figured I could give a quick update.
If you are not interested in seeing pictures of the cutest and craziest kid, please leave the blog immediately.

First, it's Thursday.
So as we do on #insta
Here's a #tbt
(With my family gettin on the cruise!) ( Yes, I am well aware I look like the red-headed step child.)

Benjamin has about 3 months left of kindergarten.
I can't believe how quickly it's gone by!
He loves, loves, loves school.
However, he does NOT love, love, love homework.
The struggle is real.
I'm surprised we actually get homework back to school in one piece.
-
-
His newest interest...
Skateboards.
He has 3 of them.
Long board,
skateboard
and a
penny.
He is pretty good.
Plus, he's extremely adorable.

-
-
We have some really good, cheerful, happy days...
-
-
And some not so good, cheerful, happy days.
(It's okay to be grumpy sometimes...)
-
-
We have outside days...
-
-
But when it's rainy, we have in the house days.
-
-
We really love outside days, though.
We are super excited for summer.
I see a lot of pool and beach days in the near future.
-
-
I don't have any pictures, but he loves to help me cook.
and of course, make sprinkle cookies.
Who doesn't love sprinkle cookies?
If you raised your hand just then and said "me"
Go on and put that hand down.
shame on you..
-
-
Speaking of sprinkle cookies.
I am back into doing a work outs!
I love a good workout.
I'm not big into posting selifies..
But, ehh, you get one anyway..
I'm just proud of myself.
I've been getting up around 5:30 am
and pushing myself pretty hard.

Guess we'll see how long I keep it up.

Coming March 2014

These beautiful faces are pretty familiar to this blog.
There are so many nice things to say about the Brown family.
They are loving, sweet, kind, godly and pretty goofy.

-

It's not hard to see that Jeremiah Keith is already loved and cherished.

-
-
Got to let these kids have a moment in the spot-light.

-
-
This little booger, Levi, smiled for about one picture, then took off running.
But check out that handsome grin!

-
-
The goofier side of Bro Keith kicked in...

-
-
That didn't last too long, though.

-
-
Wouldn't you say she's glowing?
How beautiful.

-
-
So excited to meet you, Jeremiah!

No judging allowed

For real.
I am alive.
Stop judging.
I feel the judging.
Please.
Kudos to Karen, who has managed to keep her blog alive.
She IS my role model.
-
It may be a little late to say this, but happy new year!
Now that it's almost March.
Again, STOP judging.
-
I wish this updated blog post could be bringing you some super cool news!
-
"Last week I climbed Mt Everest!"
-
"I'm learning how to surf, by the way."
-
"I composed a new piece on the pianoforte."
-
Nope. Not me. Not true.
However, I CAN tell you, my mom started knitting recently.
And that I actually cleaned my room last week.
^.^
HEY, the judging thing.
It's got to stop.
Cleaning my room IS an accomplishment!
---
*awkward*
Mom, I see you rolling your eyes.
-
Well, I like to keep things simple.
So here's a recent picture.

Awww, awwww!
I know.
 You love the pic.
We are adorable as all get out.
( I am not even sure I understand that phrase.)
-
I shall leave you with this promise
BLOG POST COMING SOON.
No, for real.
So keep your eyes open and your fingers clicking!
:)
