Welcome, AUTUMN!
Hello! Even in the warm, sunny state of Florida, autumn has come!
Ya know, it's still a little ( a lot ) warm, but I feel like there's absolutely no reason to complain.
The days are sunny and bright.
The leaves REALLY are TRYING to change colors.
Along with the leaves, this time of year, my hair begins to get really red again.
That's when I know, summer is over.
(yes, I have been trying new hairstyles. SO shocking)
but LOOK at this RED hair?! WHOSE HEAD IS THIS?!
(ignore that laundry pile, creeping out of my closet....)
I don't even have to say " I know it's been a while since I've blogged"
Because, that's already VERY obvious.
But I'm going to say it anyway.
****
I know it's been a while since my last blog post, here are a few photos from the past month.
Benjamin has really been growing. He LOVES, loves loves kindergarten!
Of course, when I ask him " What did you learn in school today?"
I mostly get, "Oh, just stuff."
Oh. Stuff. huh.
He's very active. I seriously can't keep up with this kid, sometimes.
I love taking him to the park. It's amazing how built he is.
He can do the monkey bars forwards and backwards like nobodies business.
I feel embarrassed for the kids who are older than him and can't even hold themselves up. =D
"Oh yeah! That's MY boy!"
I'm so proud of him.
In this photo below, we were actually feeding some squirrels. ( Some greedy, greedy, fat, faced squirrels)
Benjamin LOVES to chase the squirrels.
This one particular park, it's like "There's a playground here? Where? All I see are squirrels."
Geeeez. Just look at him!
Can't you tell we have fun? (Look at him holding my hand, in the photo below <3 )
.....
Welcoming the month of October, my mom and I made a trip to N.C.
Oh how I love that place!
How I love those people! <3
Bro Humes church had a weekend full of FANTASTIC meetings.
What a blessing.
I would like to take a second here, to give a very big and warm THANK YOU to EVERYONE involved with those meetings.
I won't go into detail, but the Yeboah family, in particular, were such a blessing.
I've already told the girls that they are SUCH an inspiration and example to me.
What a wonderful, godly family.
I love you <3
(and totally can't wait to see you again. But don't forget, you can come to Floridaaaaaa! ;)
Got to see the Smileys, Wescos, Duffs, Beltons- the list goes on!
Great seeing you guys, in the Carolinas. Again...
(One day, we may actually cross paths in Fl- hahaha!)
Amber and Uncle Tony ( and several others from my church) made it! =)
Micah, sweetest boy ever. <3
Goodbyes are always extremely hard.
But life must go on.
We hold memories in our hearts, forever and always.
