Jupiter Spring

My lack in blogging is due to my lack of time. 

Really, that's no excuse! ;-)

August 21st was my mom's birthday. 

Won't give away how 'young' she is. 

We haven't exactly had ONE day to actually CELEBRATE. 

This past weekend we were helping put together a last minute wedding. 

Anyhow, my dad took last Monday off, which was convenient because I already had Monday off. 

...

We took ourselves to Jupiter Springs, with the intention of kayaking down the river. 

But when we found out the trip down the river was 4 hours and you aren't allowed to GET out of the kayak and theres no option to turn around....

We re-thought the idea. 

Decided to just enjoy ourselves at the swimming hole. 

......

If you've never been to a spring, know that the water is FREEZING. 

It's gorgeous... 

But it be COLD. 

The grounds were really pretty/scenic. 

I have great parents... Love them so much. 

We had a great time!

Tiring, but so much fun. 

Jump off dock, swim across, get out, run back to dock, jump off, swim across, ect....

Leah and Jonathan one year. part one

May 19th, 2012 was a very important day for one of my best friends.

Leah got married to her Prince Charming!

It is now one year later. 

Make that one year and two months. 

It can be most difficult to meet every ones schedules when you don't live near one another. 

.....

When Leah asked me if I would take their anniversary pictures, I was like "Uhhh are you sure?" 

By now, most of you realize, I don't touch my camera much these days. 

I wasn't even sure I would remember how to turn it on.

.....

But let me reassure you, these pictures did not disappoint. 

And seeing as we got up before the sun did, I'm certainly glad they turned out. 

These first few pictures are very blue..

They only getting married once.
